How Can Your Son Benefit from
Fraternity Membership?
In general, fraternities offer
students a support system and “connection” to college which assists in their
academic success. Fraternity members have a higher graduation rate than
non-members and when they do graduate they are part of a network that for years
has aided individuals in finding employment and making new friends as they
transition from college life. Membership also requires community service which we
believe prepares students to be good citizens and good neighbors.
Having been founded in 1975, Lambda Theta Phi is a relatively new fraternity,
but many of us are fathers. Many of us are encouraging our children to consider
joining a fraternity or sorority if they have an interest. We want a safe and
rewarding college experience for our children, and we want it for your children
also. Lambda Theta Phi is a “family” and we support one another. As a Latin fraternity we honor the traditions of our Latin heritage and
respect those of other cultures. There is a place for your children and your
family in the Lambda Theta Phi family.
